The Legacy Baseball League Player’s Union is unsurprised by the audacious and avaricious assault on the basic professional rights of ballplayers in this great nation. The short-sighted and reckless determinations to limit the free market of player value, aligned with the odorous and draconian measure to punish players simply for organizing, will surely spell disaster for the future growth of this great league.
The Union will not stop our crusade for equality under a fair and decent collective agreement. Those organizations who supported such measures, on the short leash of their millionaire masters, should be prepared to face the monetary and social consequences for such an infraction of decency and fairness.
